Privacy Policy

Benefit Timing is an on-device Social Security claiming-age calculator provided by Silpho. It is designed to help you compare estimated benefit amounts across different claiming ages using information you enter yourself.

The app does not require a Silpho account. It does not use advertising SDKs, social tracking SDKs, camera access, microphone access, contact access, location access, photo library access, health data, or tracking permission. Your financial inputs never leave your device.

Local app data: Benefit Timing may store the figures you enter, such as estimated benefit amounts, birth year, planned claiming ages, and calculator settings, on your device. This data is not transmitted to Silpho servers.

Purchase data: Benefit Timing uses RevenueCat and platform billing systems to manage its one-time lifetime purchase and verify whether the full-access entitlement is active. RevenueCat may process purchase identifiers, product identifiers, entitlement status, and related diagnostic data. Your calculator inputs are never included in purchase data.

Support messages: If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to include so we can respond.

Local app data is used to keep your inputs and comparison results available on your device between sessions.

Purchase data is used to unlock full access, restore purchases, prevent unauthorized access, and troubleshoot payment or entitlement issues.

Support messages are used to respond to your request and maintain support records.

We do not sell your data and do not share it for advertising. The app does not send your benefit estimates, birth year, claiming-age scenarios, or any other calculator inputs to Silpho servers or anyone else.

Purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. RevenueCat processes purchase and entitlement data on our behalf. Eligible refunds are handled through your Apple ID or Google Play account.

Local app data remains on your device until you delete it, uninstall the app, or clear app data. Silpho does not operate an account database for Benefit Timing.

RevenueCat and the app stores retain purchase records according to their own retention policies and legal obligations. Support emails may be retained as long as reasonably necessary to respond and maintain support records.

You can delete local app data by deleting the app or clearing app data from your device.

The app does not provide account creation, so there is no in-app account deletion flow. If you made a purchase, you can contact support to request deletion of RevenueCat customer data associated with your purchase entitlement where deletion is available and legally permitted.

Benefit Timing is intended for adults planning Social Security claiming decisions. It is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We use reasonable measures to protect purchase and support data. Your calculator inputs are stored on your device. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

Benefit Timing is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Social Security Administration or any government agency. The app does not access your Social Security record; all figures come from information you enter.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we will update the date at the top of this page.
