Privacy Policy

Chess Clock is a premium chess timer and board game clock provided by Silpho. The app is designed to work locally on your device and does not require an account.

Chess Clock does not use advertising SDKs, social tracking SDKs, camera access, microphone access, contact access, or location access.

Local app data: Chess Clock stores your timer presets, selected theme, sound and haptic preferences, onboarding state, and active timer state on your device.

Subscription data: Chess Clock uses RevenueCat and the App Store to manage subscriptions and verify whether the premium entitlement is active. RevenueCat may process purchase identifiers, entitlement status, product identifiers, and related diagnostic data.

Support messages: If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to include so we can respond.

Local app data is used to keep your chess clock settings, presets, and active timer state available on your device.

Subscription data is used only to unlock Chess Clock Premium, restore purchases, prevent unauthorized access, and support purchase-related troubleshooting.

We do not sell your data and do not share it for advertising. The only third-party service used for the core subscription flow is RevenueCat, which processes purchase and entitlement data on our behalf.

Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Subscription management and cancellation happen in your Apple ID account settings.

Local timer data remains on your device until you change it, delete it, uninstall the app, or clear app data. Silpho does not operate an account database for Chess Clock.

RevenueCat and Apple retain subscription records according to their own retention policies and legal obligations. Support emails may be retained as long as reasonably necessary to respond and maintain support records.

You can delete custom presets in the app. You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your App Store account settings. You can request help with privacy or support questions by contacting us.

Chess Clock is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We use reasonable measures to protect subscription and support data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we will update the date at the top of this page.
