Terms of Use

By downloading, accessing, or using Chess Clock, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Silpho grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Chess Clock for personal, lawful purposes, subject to these Terms.

Chess Clock is a premium app with auto-renewable subscriptions. Premium access unlocks the chess clock workflow, custom presets, premium themes, sound and haptic feedback, and related premium timer features.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.

The yearly subscription may include a 7-day free trial when shown on the paywall. If a trial is available, payment is not due immediately and the subscription renews at the displayed yearly price after the trial unless cancelled before the trial ends. The weekly subscription does not include a free trial unless explicitly shown.

You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings after purchase. The app also provides Restore Purchases on the paywall and in Settings.

You agree not to:

• use the app in violation of applicable laws or regulations;
• copy, modify, reverse engineer, or interfere with the app;
• attempt to bypass subscription access controls;
• use the app in a way that could harm Silpho or other users.

Chess Clock is designed for practical board game timing, including chess, blitz, rapid, classical, Fischer, Bronstein, and increment time controls. Device sleep settings, system interruptions, low power mode, and platform behavior may affect timing. For official tournament play, confirm that the app is permitted by the organizer.

Chess Clock, including its design, branding, software, icons, and related content, is owned by Silpho or its licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue Chess Clock at any time, with or without notice. We do not guarantee that the app will always be available or error-free.

Chess Clock is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Silpho will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business interruption arising out of or related to your use of Chess Clock.

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the app.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we do, we will post the updated version on this page and revise the last updated date.
