Privacy Policy

SignIt is provided by Silpho. SignIt helps you generate handwritten style signatures from a typed name, customize the result, draw custom signatures, save signatures locally, and export transparent PNG files.

SignIt is local-first. Saved signatures are stored on your device in app storage. We do not create accounts, operate a social network, or sell your personal data.

Typed names and generated signatures: Names you type and signatures you generate are used to create the signature preview and saved locally on your device when you choose to save them.

Drawn signatures: Custom signatures you draw with your finger or Apple Pencil are stored locally when you choose to save them.

Subscription status: SignIt uses RevenueCat to manage Premium entitlement status. Apple processes payments, and RevenueCat receives purchase and entitlement information needed to unlock Premium features.

Support messages: If you contact us directly, we receive the information you include so we can respond.

SignIt can offer optional AI-assisted style suggestions. The AI provider is OpenAI. SignIt asks for explicit consent before sending typed text to OpenAI for style suggestions.

If AI suggestions are not enabled, or if no production AI service is configured, suggestions stay on device and use local rules. SignIt does not use AI to verify identity, authorship, legal authorization, or the validity of any signature.

SignIt exports transparent PNG files only when you choose to export or share a signature. The app asks for Photos add-only permission only when you choose to save an exported PNG to Photos.

We use local signature data to provide generation, customization, saving, and export features. Subscription information is used to unlock Premium features such as unlimited styles, saves, and exports.

If you consent to AI suggestions, typed text is used only to generate style recommendations for your signature.

We do not sell your data. Apple processes subscription payments. RevenueCat processes purchase and entitlement status. OpenAI processes typed text only if you explicitly allow AI suggestions.

SignIt does not use third-party advertising or App Tracking Transparency tracking.

Saved signatures remain on your device until you delete them or remove the app. Exported PNG files are stored wherever you choose to save or share them.

Purchase records are retained by Apple and RevenueCat according to their policies. Support emails may be retained as reasonably necessary to handle your request and maintain support records.

SignIt requires users to confirm they have permission to create a signature before generating, saving, or exporting it. Do not use SignIt to imitate another person, a public figure, or a signature you are not authorized to create.

SignIt is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child provided information to us by mistake, contact us and we will review the request.

We use reasonable measures to protect data in transit and any communications sent to us. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we will update the date at the top of this page.
